Jennie is amazing!! I have used Jennie twice in the past for both buying and selling and my experience was awesome both times! However, this most recent experience showed me what kind of person Jennie is in her core. My mom passed away in March of this year and while I was dealing with her estate Aurora received almost 8 inches of rain in three days my mom's finished basement flooded. After having that issue professionally mitigated, the question then was do I just sell to an investor at a lower price, use a company like open-door or contact Jennie. The house was 44 years old, and I knew there would be issues with an inspection. I contacted Jennie and am so glad I did! Because it was a corner lot, and the lot was so large she included drone shots in the listing along with the other home pictures which I thought WOW! She listed the house for more than I thought it would be listed. and I received two offers on the first day, one for full price and one for 10K over. The inspection ended up being way worse than I expected for issues found because of the basement flooding and some other what I would consider major issues that could have cost the estate 40 to 50K. With her stellar negotiation skills and professional contacts for needed work the outcome could not have been better! She was so compassionate and supportive, I was a mess after losing my mom and then dealing with the estate and then house issues and I know I could not have made it through the sale of my mom's house without her!!!! I was an out of state (GA) client of Jenny’s. Throughout the entire home search process, I was viewing homes through FaceTime with Jenny. She was able to show homes to me generally in 24 hours or less and sometimes a couple of hours after my request, which was key in this tight market. Dena is a super star! I was relocating from out of state, during a pandemic, and trying to purchase my first ever home (Talk about a recipe for disaster!) However, Dena was with me for every single thing I threw at her. Being someone who had a mansion wishlist on a paupers budget, it was no easy task! She walked me through the process, answered any and all questions I had, and truly got to know what I was looking for. While my price point was pretty low for the area, I never felt like a second thought: Dena treated me with the utmost respect and made me feel like I was the number one priority in finding my perfect home. (I was working with another realtor before I was introduced to Dena, and let me tell you - that was NOT the case with the other realtor). Dena even was the one who suggested the home that I ended up purchasing! My wife and I embarked on our first ever home buying experience with limited knowledge of the home buying process in Denver, a couple favorite neighborhoods, and 1,000 miles between us and Denver. On a recommendation of a family friend, we were lucky to find Doug James and the Wise Listing Team. In our first (and only; more on that soon), visit to Denver, Doug not only showed us neighborhood and properties to get an idea of what we like, but also informed us of market trends and the buying process. We learned more in that weekend than we thought possible. Best of all, Doug learned what we did and did not like so well, he even seemed to understand us better than we did! We did not use Ms. Marshall to purchase our home in Parker, but sure wish we had. Her knowledge and expertise would have made our process so much smoother and we probably wouldn't have paid so much for our dream home in The Timbers. Two years into owning our home we were in the process of starting a rate term refinance. If we would've listen to Ms. Marshalls advice we would not have wasted money on an appraisal. She knows what she is talking about whether the news is good or bad. I would much rather have an honest agent on my side then someone who is chasing a commission. She still sends us updates and keeps us in the loop on what is going on locally. So when it's time to pull the trigger on the refinance - we will have the resources - thanks to Ms. Marshall.
